Results As part of the Grant Agreement and according to the aims and objectives, the results of the project Getting Evidence into Practice are as follows: - Strand one developed a consensus based protocol on reviews which resulted in a European Review Protocol for health promotion (still under validation). - Strand two developed a tool to enhance and assess the evidence base of health promotion practice: the European Quality Instrument for health promotion (EQUIHP). - Strand three produced a special issue of IUHPE's journal Promotion & Education, entitled: The challenge of getting evidence into practice: current debates and future strategies. The Final technical implementation report ( PEF 133 Kb) of the Getting Evidence into Practice Project (GEP), (Evidence Consortium), EC Grant agreement no 2003123 (790841) covers the period from 1/02/2004 - 31/7/2004 and includes all activities. May 2006 The questionnaire and manual have been translated into Greek by the Greek participant in the project ISPM (Institute of Social & Preventive Medicine in Athens. 2007 Several countries or regions, including Poland and Nordrhein-Westphalia have decided to use EQUIHP as a quality tool for health promotion. 2008 INPES (Institut national de prévention et d'education pour la Santé) in France has also decided to make use of EQUIHP as the tool for quality assurance.
